Guest Policies
Visitation Policy
- Charges for all reservations become non-refundable within 48 hours of your confirmed time, but are transferable by contacting the winery.
- We are unable to accommodate anyone under the age of 21, including infants and children on the grounds of the winery. ID may be requested.
- Pets are not permitted anywhere on the estate, only legitimate service animals (as defined by the American Disabilities Act) are allowed within the winery.
- Outside food and beverage is not allowed.
- Opus One Winery is a smoke-free property.
- We kindly ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your designated reservation time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your tasting experience.
- In accordance with California law, we are obliged to refuse service to anyone exhibiting signs of intoxication and we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
- For the safety of our employees and fellow guests, please obey all speed limit and traffic signs in the driveways and parking areas.
- For your own safety, please do not walk on the winery’s grass berms. Walking or standing on the winery walls is also strictly forbidden.
- For the safety and privacy of our guests, the use of photography drones is not allowed.
- Video and photography for commercial or promotional use is not permitted and all rights are reserved.
- For the safety of our guests and to protect our interiors, selfie-sticks cannot be used inside of the winery.
- Please don’t leave your bags unattended. We are not responsible for any personal belongings left behind.
- We kindly ask that you do not enter the vineyards without a winery guide. While we use organic farming practices, some materials in use may have proximity delays.
- Picking fruit, cutting canes or pulling leaves is not permitted in the vineyard.
- As a functioning winery, we cannot guarantee access to all areas. Winery access will vary depending on the time of year and the production schedule.
- Proper attire is requested, and footwear is required.
- To preserve our artwork and decorative items, please do not touch paintings and wall hangings, or handle items displayed on shelves.
- Opus One Winery is part of a living ecosystem, we are not responsible for encounters with local wildlife.
