What is Grown Across the Opus One Estate Vineyards?

Vineyards at Opus One

The Opus One Estate is planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon (80%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (6%), Merlot (6%), Petit Verdot (6%), and Malbec (2%). Together, these plantings create the deliberate balance expressed in every bottle of Opus One.

Opus One 2012 is a remarkable reflection of this Estate composition – an age-worthy vintage with lively acidity and refined structure, crafted from 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot, and 2% Malbec.
