Opus One Moments The Estate

Experience Something New at Opus One

The Opus One Facade

Something has changed at the Estate.

After years of study and planning, the enhanced façade of Opus One is complete, and our main driveway is reopened to patrons. In partnership with architecture firm Reed Hilderbrand, we reimagined the north and south berms and courtyard that welcome you to the Estate – dedicating more than one acre to a biodiverse, native, and drought-tolerant planting environment.

The plant species selected – chosen through extensive trials for their resilience, visual character, and ecological benefit – balance the abstraction of French garden design with the looser, expressive quality of the California landscape. Their planting arrangement reflects the contours of the surrounding Vaca Mountains, drawing the broader landscape into the arrival experience.

This work honors the Estate’s original architectural vision while fulfilling part of our 2030 commitment to be globally responsible – meaningfully reducing our irrigation needs and water use in the process.

We invite you to visit the Estate and experience it for yourself.
