A visit to Opus One offers the opportunity to gain insight into our French & American origins as well as the chance to learn about vineyard and winemaking practices. Visitors to the estate are invited to reflect upon our wine while enjoying the winery’s grounds. All visits are by appointment only.
Discover Opus One in our Partners’ Room with a 4 ounce pour of our current vintage. Savor the layered complexity of our wine in our colonnade or enjoy the scenic vistas provided by our terrace.
We are unable to accommodate anyone under the age of 21, including infants and children. Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets.
We are currently offering the 2014 vintage of Opus One for $50 per glass.
The Partners' Room is open daily between 10 am and 4 pm by appointment only.

We offer two hosted tour options for guests of our estate. Tours are available on a limited basis and require an appointment booked by phone.

Estate Tour & Tasting
The Estate Tour & Tasting offers insight into Opus One’s history, aesthetics, vineyards and winemaking. This hosted visit includes a tour of the winery production areas and culminates in our Grand Chai, where guests may taste the current vintage of Opus One. Please allow 90 minutes to enjoy your experience.
Estate Tours are $85 per person and space is limited.
Library Tour & Tasting
The Library Tour & Tasting offers a more intimate exploration of Opus One. Guests will be escorted through an immersive tour of the winery, beginning in the Salon and concluding in the Private Library with a formal seated tasting of two vintages of Opus One. Please allow 120 minutes to enjoy your experience.
Library Tours are $140 per person and space is limited.
Construction Notice: After 27 years, Mr. Scott Johnson, the architect of Opus One, has returned to finish his work. Next fall we will welcome you to an enhanced Opus One. We are very happy to have you visit the winery during construction and give you a behind the scenes sneak peek at the work. Please excuse any dust and occasional noise that comes along with the construction.
